The Japanese Food Adventure

My trip to Japan covering 16 days and featuring Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe and Nara.

Click on the link under each photo to read about that day. There is a link at the end of each day leading to the following day.


Days 1-3, From burgers in Hounslow to yakitori in Koenji 

Day 4 - The Ghibli Museum, Tokyo Dome and a hearty meal

Day 5 - A cat cafe, Harajuku and dinner at an Alice in Wonderland restaurant 


Day 6 - A bullet train to Kyoto and okonomiyaki


Day 7 - A visit to the stunning Fushimi Inari-taisha, more eggs and a very strange drink
  

Day 8 - The bamboo groves of Kyoto, feeding the monkeys and arriving in Osaka

  
Day 9 - Eating my way around Osaka!


Day 10 - Feeding the deer of Nara and a good view of Osaka


Day 11 - The search for Kobe beef, a trip to the zoo, ramen and a really good night out! 


Day 12 - Returning to Tokyo  


Day 13 - Fat toast, fast rollercoasters and Tokyo Bay

Day 14 - Sausage, egg and bacon for breakfast, department store food halls and a good look around Koenji 

Day 15 - Fruit for breakfast, an amazing lunch and back to the airport 

Day 16 - 6000 miles back to reality
