Mum asked the lady behind the counter, "What's the soup of the day?" The lady lifted the lid on the tureen to reveal a steaming liquid concoction. After peering at it quizzically she answered, "Brown." You're right about things getting cold though - preparing your drink first is a good call.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1190068840984601731.post-7574541591258965972012-04-30T07:22:32.228+01:002012-04-30T07:22:32.228+01:00The "self service" style kind of reminde...The "self service" style kind of reminded me of being in a hotel in Spain. I treat it as a last resort as it's usually dried out before I even get my tray to the counter, never mind serving it. It would be difficult to emulate a small cafe at this scale, but nonetheless they do seem to have made wrong choices..Harrynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1190068840984601731.post-71192731474865586232012-04-29T18:17:12.181+01:002012-04-29T18:17:12.181+01:00HAHA. Mind you, pretty much the same prices so at least that's a good thing.Perdita Tinselhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01741015473009270250noreply@blogger.com
